ULV Model United Nations One Day training Conference

 

The conference will be held on Saturday October 11th 2014 with an empahsis on topics and countries that will be represented at National Model United Nations in DC held on October 31st- November 2nd.  The idea of this conference is to be both a new-delegate friendly conference as well as a practice session for delegates that will be attending Nationals in DC on the above dates.  The point of this conference to supply delgations with a relatively cheap training session where they can bring both new and experienced delegates to a conference with less pressure than multiple day conferences.  

 

The Conference will have one committee : the GA 1st, with the topic being Addressing the Reality of Emerging Weapon Systems, which is a topic straight from National MUN in DC.  We have decided to keep the committee limited to one topic so that new delegates can focus on a single topic so that they do not feel overwelmed and intimidated by the abundant amount of research that multiple topic committees require from them. 

 

The conference has a small fee of $15 per delegate that each delegation wishes to bring.  During the conference we will supply water as well as lunch for the delegates in attendance.
